Martial Arts
We don't teach fighting nor do we promote it. With the popularity of
mixed marital arts ( MMA, UFC and Pride etc ) the general public
perception about martial arts has changed. MMA fighters are
professional fighters and they train to win fights. We teach martial
arts for other reasons. Self Improvement, Fitness, Self - Defense and
life skills. We feel it's important to have these values because you
use them everyday. Making Decisions that will impact the rest of your
life.
Fitness
The techniques we teach are based on the design of your body. For
power you can develop the larger, powerful muscles of the torso. The
speed of the techniques comes from the fast agile muscles of the arms
and legs. Whatever your fitness goals may be - we have the experience
to put an effective program together for you. We will help you to get
the most from your membership and get the results you are looking for.
Self Defense
Most of the time fighting can be avoided. The number one rule of self
Defense is to: Not put yourself in harms way. If you were to walk down
a dark ally at 2 a.m. wearing a 3 piece suit, your chances of using
self-defense just went up. Hopefully you will never need to defend
yourself, but if the occasion ever arrives it's important to be able
to protect yourself with confidence by developing your physical and
mental strength with martial arts techniques.
Family Activity
We offer programs where the whole family can participate.
Everyone Is Important and Everyone wins
Everyone likes to win, who doesn't? Look at video games: Why do people
play video games? Entertainment?, maybe, most play because they like
to win. Winning helps them feel important. Video games don't judge you
based on age, weight, athleticism etc. Our Teaching concept is similar
to this. If a student can only do one push up our job is to inspire
them to set and reach a goal of two push-ups.
Effective Goal Orientation Belt Rankings Systems Offer:-
•Clear Progression
•Steps of a ladder
•Students must look forward
•Constant sense of achievement
•Individual (not team) success - you see results of personal effort.
